Waterfall Method

The waterfall method/model is a classical process model used in system development to create a system with a linear approach. It is termed as waterfall because the model develops systematically from one phase to another in a downward fashion. Once a phase of development is completed, the development proceeds to the next phase and there is no turning back. This is contrary to the agile method.
